Night of Museums in Bordeaux

 

 

CAPC, musée d’art contemporain (CAPC, museum of contemporary art) you could discover 2 exhibitions, of Tomoaki Suzuki andt Procession.

Le Musée d’Aquitaine (The Museum of Aquitaine) invited you to celebrate the re-opening of the 19th century collections through workshops and fun activities.

Musée des Arts décoratifs & du design (The museum of decorative arts & design) was the yours ! During all the night you could choose the artwork the museum would display as the next « object of the month ».

Musée des Beaux-Arts (The fin Arts Museum) displayed one of the most important collection in France, and the first Fine Arts collection in Aquitaine.

Musée National des Douanes (The National customs Museum) offered all the night time visit that comes of the ordinary.

Musée d’Ethnographie Université Bordeaux (The Ethnographic museum) invited you to participate to the creation of a collective work.  

Cap Sciences made you explore the fascinating world of T.rex.

La Base sous-marine (The Submarine base) presented the exhibition of Li Chevalier’s preview before the official opening.

In the Musée des Compagnons du Tour de France (The Museum of the Companions of the Tour de France) a place was dedicated to the beautiful and a hymn to manual labor.

Le Jardin Botanique (The Botanical Garden) opened its doors to share with you its collections and exhibitions in a unique atmosphere of musique and dance.

This edition of Night of Museums was a real succes : 35 000 visitors of 11 venues of Bordeaux. There were 2 000 000 in France !
